The Traveling Guitar Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2010 by acclaimed guitarist and songwriter Damon Marks. Built on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to experience music, the Foundation is dedicated to expanding access to music education by providing musical instruments, equipment, educational guitar clinics, and ongoing support to schools and communities facing financial challenges.

Across the country, budget cuts continue to threaten music education programs, leaving countless students without access to the instruments and instruction that inspire creativity, confidence, and self-expression. The Traveling Guitar Foundation exists to help bridge that gap.

Our mission is to ensure that students have access to quality musical instruments, hands-on instruction, and meaningful musical experiences regardless of their school's financial circumstances.

Through partnerships with educators, artists, corporate sponsors, and generous supporters, we provide the resources that help schools strengthen their music programs and create life-changing opportunities for young musicians.

What We Do
